Why hybrid packs can kill
A hybrid battery is not like the 12-volt battery under the hood. A Prius pack holds about 200 volts, and the motors run on even higher voltage. That is enough to stop your heart.
Never touch orange cables or the battery pack until you have finished this module.
The good news: hybrid systems are built to be safe to work on if you follow the steps in order. This module teaches those steps.
Wear your PPE and work under supervision until you have practiced each step.
